Three Generations of
Home Building Experience
Here is an actual event that
happened when building in one or neighborhoods that my father and
I believe embodies the essence and spirit of our Company.
So here is our Story.......
While browsing through some of our
floor plans, a couple asked how we came up the names for our home
styles. Their hands were full with home design brochures which had
names like The Nolan, The Pace, The Aponte, The Zyber, The
Apostalon, and The Bertling.
They told us the names did not have
theme or colonial sounding ring like the brochures they
had picked up at various other builders which read The Washington,
The Jefferson, and The Belmont.
We never really thought about how
other builders came up with the name for their home designs, but
they were right. Our names don't have a common recognizable theme.
To answer we explained how our
customers molded Zocco Builders into the company we are today.
We told them how we sat down with
each of our customers to understand what their ideal home would be.
As they let us into their lives we met with their families and their
friends. We shared in their stories to compile a list of wants and
needs. We based the home designs on our customer's life styles.
We changed and grew with each of
these interactions. We built their homes, but they helped build our
company. An as a result, we decided to name our home designs in memory
of them...Our Customers.
